The Marion Chapter of the National Honor Society spent the day down at the elementary school to celebrate March is Reading Month! While there, they read/performed stories, listened to elementary students read, enjoyed a few performances while the music class practiced in front of a small audience, ran some laps during gym class, and sat in on regular classroom activities (including recess!) A big shout out to our foreign exchange student Rita who visited classes to read The Little Prince in Italian with Mia translating it into English. The NHS would like to thank the Elementary staff, teachers, and students for welcoming us into their building. We encourage everyone, young and old, to continue reading regularly-even after March is Reading Month festivities end!!
