Our first graders became little voters today! 🇺🇸🍪 We learned all about voting and elections, then put our knowledge to the test by holding our very own mock election to vote for our favorite cookie! We practiced making choices, casting ballots, and counting votes. Who knew learning about democracy could be so sweet? 🍪🗳️❤️

Have a safe and happy Halloween from Marion Elementary!

This week students took part in the Spooktacular Family Learning Night. There were many reading and math activities. Students were able to read in the Haunted Library with lighted witchy fingers and enjoy a haunting treat!

Today the second grade was visited by Sara Brunink from Mercantile Bank. She taught a lesson on saving money for goals. Students are currently learning about economics in social studies.

Congratulations to Jagger Hamlet in the Metal Fabrication/Welding program and Kristopher Johnson in the Career Skills program for being named Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center – Students of the 1st Quarter

Marion has been proudly participating in this program for several years, and we have seen the incredible impact it has made on the families we serve. Our OYAC team and advisor look forward to shopping for this special program each year and helping bring Christmas joy to students in our school who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

We are so grateful for the generosity and support that help make this program possible. Thank you for all you do to support our local schools, students, and families! ❤️
