Here is a shout out to Mrs. Louwers at Marion High School. She applied and was awarded a $500 grant from Members First Credit Union from their Teach Grants. She has secured these funds to assist with materials for hOUR 10 (MHS's social emotional session once a week) groups and supplies for our Recognition Rallies that happen quarterly to honor and shine the light on students in our school. As part of the SEL Leadership Team at MHS, Mrs. Louwers knows this will help educate and encourage our kids with social awareness, relationship skills, self management, decision making skills and self awareness. If you see Mrs. Louwers, tell her congratulations and THANK YOU!

Ms. Russell’s 4th grade class has completed a few puzzles this year but this has been the largest yet! 1,000 pieces! Students work hard individually problem solving getting their portion together. Then work as a team to put it all together without ever looking at a picture of what they’re making. Happy Holidays!!
