Marion High School Announcements and Events
The High School Cross Country Team traveled to Chippewa Hills for the Early Season Warriors Invitational.
This season is already off to a great start! Isiah and Bella decreased their first meet of the season times by about 90 seconds and 8 minutes respectively! Our two freshmen runners, Brenden and Bridgett both pushed through the additional distance between their 5k today and the 2mi they ran last year. We are still looking for runners. If any 6-12th graders are interested, stop by Mr. Mayer's room!!

🌱 Growing Something Beautiful at Marion Elementary! 🌸
We are incredibly grateful to Morgan’s Composting near Evart for their generosity and partnership in helping us create a more beautiful landscape at Marion Elementary!
Morgan’s Composting graciously worked with our elementary custodian, Jeremy, to develop a plan to refresh and improve our landscaping. They generously donated perennials, fertilizer, and seed to help bring new life to our school grounds. Even better, they will return this spring to complete another refresh and continue helping us make our school grounds something our students, families, and community can be proud of.
We are truly honored by their generosity and willingness to invest in our school. Partnerships like this remind us how fortunate we are to have businesses and community members who believe in our students and want to make a difference.

Middle School Football Practice
2026 Cross Country Camp complete! This group of student athletes spent a bit over a week preparing for the '26 Cross Country Season by RUNNING, setting up our home course, RUNNING, organizing the Old Fashioned Days 5k/2mi, RUNNING, playing team building games, RUNNING, completing a service project for the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, RUNNING, camping, RUNNING, dune climbing WHILE RUNNING, hiking, and swimming before finally getting a chance to take a break from...RUNNING.
The team is looking for a few more members to round out both our middle and high school teams. See Mr. Mayer at school if you are interested in joining us.
