The Senior Class of 2024 celebrated their last day of high school with a blend of new and traditional events that made for a memorable farewell. The day kicked off with a Sunrise Breakfast at The Flashback, where students gathered to enjoy a meal together as the first light of day broke over their hometown. This early morning gathering allowed them to share laughter, reminisce about their high school journey, and prepare for the day's activities. After breakfast, they headed off to their final classes, where they tied up any loose ends and said goodbye to their teachers and friends. As the morning turned into afternoon, the excitement continued with a fantastic cookout at lunch. The cookout featured a delicious spread of hotdogs, hamburgers, and a variety of side dishes. This feast was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of many families, who provided the food and helped with the preparations. The sense of community and support was evident as everyone came together to make this day special for the graduating seniors. To add an extra layer of fun, Edward’s Rentals and More donated an inflatable obstacle course. This provided the students with a final opportunity to engage in carefree, childlike play, creating lasting memories of their last day at high school. The seniors took their final walk around the track, where they received applause and cheers from their family and friends. Each step symbolized not only the end of their high school journey, but also the beginning of new adventures. Following the walk, the tradition continued with a spirited water balloon fight. It was a perfect way to celebrate the end of their school days, a final burst of childhood fun before stepping into the responsibilities of adulthood. As the sun began to set on this memorable day, a few of the seniors gathered in the athletic complex to witness the sunset together. The setting sun marked the end of one chapter and the dawn of another, a beautiful reminder that though high school was over, the bonds they had formed would last a lifetime. Graduation is set for May 24th at 7pm and will take place in the High School Gymnasium.

On Saturday, May 11th, the Senior Class embarked on an unforgettable journey to Craig’s Cruisers, marking a day of sheer exhilaration and camaraderie. This adventure was the culmination of their diligent fundraising efforts over their high school years, showcasing their ability to come together and achieve a collective goal. Their hard work paid off in the form of an action-packed day, where they had the opportunity to indulge in three hours of unlimited attractions. The offerings were vast, ranging from the high-flying fun of a trampoline park to the competitive spirit of go-kart racing, and the strategic gameplay of laser tag. Additionally, the students were granted access to an endless buffet, ensuring that their energy levels remained high throughout the day. The planning and execution of this trip were in the capable hands of the class officers, who demonstrated remarkable leadership and organizational skills. They took on the responsibility of contacting Craig’s Cruisers to negotiate a deal, meticulously selecting a date that accommodated everyone's busy schedules, including spring sports commitments, and arranging for transportation to and from the venue. Their dedication to creating a memorable experience for their classmates was evident in every aspect of the trip. The success of this outing was unmistakably reflected in the joyous expressions of the students. The smiles that adorned their faces were a testament to the fun they experienced on that special day. It wasn’t just a celebration of the end of their high school journey but a recognition of their unity and hard work. This trip to Craig’s Cruisers will undoubtedly remain a cherished memory for the Senior Class.
