Due to the heavy rainfall, some bus route roads have become undriveable—especially for school buses. Secondary roads, dirt roads, and areas near bridges are experiencing flooding or have been closed.

Even in areas where roads are still open, conditions remain unsafe. Road shoulders may be soft or washed out and/or standing water and debris present safety concerns.

With additional rain expected this week, we will continue to closely monitor transportation conditions. It is possible that some bus routes may need to be adjusted. If your student is unable to be picked up or dropped off, you will receive a phone call from our transportation department.

As always, we will err on the side of caution to ensure the safety of all students.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
