As the school year wraps up at MHS, the 6th grade G.R.I.T. class recently completed their Junior Achievement program. Mr. Chris Crawley, of Junior Achievement, and Mr. Scott Schryer, of Horizon Bank, came to the classroom after spring break to instruct students on weekly lessons in "Economics for Success". Lesson topics included career exploration, transferable skills, income/expenses, planning for the future, paying for wants/needs, and credit/spending. With our changing world, the up-to-date information and career exploration is appreciated for our young students.
