Here are the medalists from Marion at the Manton Invite. The boys once again competed well winning the meet with a little help from our Eagle Sisters in the COED events. Manton always hosts a big event with a lot of unique twists like the Throwers Relay and the Pole Vault relay where they use a PV pole as a baton. Lots of fun to watch. Noteworthy performances go to Braden Prielipp who set the meet record winning the High Jump at 6'7" and Mason Salisbury who won two individual events in the 110HH and 300LH with a PR time, finished second in the LJ, and was a part of the winning 4x200m relay which ran a season best. His effort earned 28 points individually and 10 shared in the relay towards the team total of 154. Weston Cox also showed well in the throws and throwers relay winning the shot put, finishing 3rd in the disc with a PR and winning the small school throwers relay with team mates James Williams, Harley Bear, and Makayla Cruson.Its been a long season for these guys, many of whom also play baseball. They have had several weeks where they are at a ball game or track meet almost every night of the week and still show up and perform. Hats off to the whole crew!
