Wexford-Missaukee CTC Students Earn CNA Certificates

Thirty-nine students in the Health Science Careers program at the Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center have become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).  Nursing assistants must complete a training course, including classroom instruction and 24 hours of clinical practice.  As part of this training, students were required to assist with basic patient care such as giving baths, checking vital signs, bed making, and positioning under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.  This Health Science Careers program is proudly housed at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.
