Good Morning! Today is Friday, May 5, 2023, and here are today’s announcements:
ALL STUDENTS who eat school lunch (ESPECIALLY jr. high students): The lunch ladies kindly request you DO NOT put gum under the counter of the lunch serving area. Use the trash can in the hall for gum disposal. Thank you!
Students Attending After Prom: Please complete the Google Form using the link sent to your email by 2:50 pm on Friday 5-5-23.
Prom is TOMORROW at the Olde Mill Venue from 7-11 pm. Tickets are on sale TODAY during High School lunch. Tickets are 1-$20 or 2 for $30.
Prom Court nominations are in. Voting will begin TODAY at 8 AM and will end at 3 PM. Be sure to check your email for the Google Form. If you do not receive it, please let Mrs. Kiger know ASAP. Crowning will take place at Prom starting at 9 pm.
Prom Attendees– If you need a ride from the Olde Mill Venue to MHS to check in for After Prom, the buses will have two shuttles: the first shuttle will pick up at 10:40 pm and the second will pick up at 10:50 pm. We have to leave MHS by 11:15 pm.
High School students who are interested in joining the state-level SLS Student Advisory Board for the school year 2023-24 should see Ms. Baker right away for the application. This is a really great experience for your college and job applications. The deadline to apply is May 30th.
Brooke E. Flint STEM Scholarship for Women application is now available in the office for all high school senior girls who are planning on pursuing a STEM course of study at either a college/university or other post-secondary educational institution. The deadline to apply is May 12th no exceptions. Please see Mrs. Louwers if you have questions.
A representative from Saginaw Valley State University will be here on Friday, May 12th at 11:35 am. Sign-up is posted by the office.
Students: If you would like to join MPACT or SLS for the 2023-24 school year, you must complete an application before the end of this year. Applications for both groups will be accepted May 4th-18th. For an application to join MPACT, please contact Mrs. Deighton or Ms. Baker. To join SLS you should ask Ms. Baker for an application.
