Dear Marion Elementary Parents:

We are asking for your help, if you are able.  Thursday, April 30th, is our second scheduled “round” of instructional materials being sent home.  Teachers will be taking shifts from 11 a.m - 6 p.m, to help distribute learning materials and chromebooks. We are hoping as many parents as possible can visit campus to pick up materials on Thursday.  We are proud of our teachers for sending home the most meaningful and creative learning opportunities possible.  Likewise, we have GREAT PARENTS...98% of MES parents picked up work during the first round!  Let’s do this again on April 30th!

Please know that our teachers will be ready to accept returned work on Thursday, as well.  Likewise, your child’s 3rd Quarter report card will be included in the materials.

After Thursday, if you still need to pick up materials, please email your child's teacher directly.  Please explain how we can best serve you in terms of getting you the materials.  Your options include: (1) setting up a pickup time and date to come to campus for pick-up, (2) indicating that you will pick materials up from one of our other four lunch distribution sites:  (Redding Township Hall, Dighton Store, Middlebranch Township Hall, and Winterfield Township Hall - just tell us which one, please).  If this is not possible, please let us know, and we can (3) arrange for a bus to deliver things to your driveway.  Again, please let us know the address and the days you need delivery.  Here is a link to staff email:  https://www.marion.k12.mi.us/o/mps/staff.  If you require immediate help, please email dsalis@marion.mi.k12.us or carrington@marion.k12.mi.us.  The main district line is (231) 743-2486 extension
