HS distance learning

Dear Marion Jr./Sr. High School Parents:

Our school plan is to send the second “supply” of schoolwork on April 30, 2020. This will include internet and virtual learning opportunities as well as traditional paper & pencil forms. Teachers will send  instructional resources every two weeks thereafter. Parents can pick up traditional paper and pencil work at any of our lunch distribution centers (on April 30 from 11:30-1:00 ), or by making other arrangements. Please explain how we can best serve you in terms of getting you the materials.  Your options include: (1) setting up a pickup time and date to come to campus for pick-up, (2) indicating that you will pick materials up from one of our other four lunch distribution sites:  (Redding Township Hall, Dighton Store, Middlebranch Township Hall, and Winterfield Township Hall - just tell us which one, please).  If this is not possible, please let us know, and we can (3) arrange for a bus to deliver things to your driveway.  Again, please let us know the address and the days you need delivery.

Completed work can be shared with teachers electronically (Google Classroom, email, etc) or can be returned to a lunch drop off station submitted to a bus driver.

After Thursday, if your student currently attends Marion Jr./Sr. High School, please email your child's teacher directly with class specific questions.  Here is a link to staff email:  https://www.marion.k12.mi.us/o/mps/staff.  If you require immediate help, please email lkulhawick@marion.k12.mi.us, or dprielipp@marion.k12.mi.us.  The MS/HS Phone number is (231) 743-2846 extension 2.

Each teacher will have office hours in order to maintain contact in case of questions or concerns.  These office hours offer several different forms of communication, including phone, email, google hangout, etc. Office hours are posted on the district website.

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.
